The artwork was gifted to Reading Museum October 2022. Its reflects the architectural and floral motifs from Reading Museum and Reading. The design was applied within the Islamic art principle.
Hadil was born in Al Yarmouk Refugee Camp, South of Damascus, Syria. Her family is rooted deeply within occupied Palestine. She obtained her Illumination and Ceramic degree from Ankara, Turkey and Foundation degree in Art in Practice from West London University, UK.
The sale of the art print will help go towards Hadil running workshops for Palestinian refugees in refugee camps.
